OUR LOCATION
Compamigos, established in November 2024 is now an award winning tapas bar and restaurant in the heart of Mercia Marina, Derby. Europe’s largest inland marina. We’re just minutes from Findern, Willington, the A38, and A50. With nearby bus routes and strong local transport links, we’re easy to reach whether you’re driving or using public transport.
We’re surrounded by independent shops selling jewellery, clothes, and children’s toys, along with scenic canal walks perfect for a post-meal stroll. Free on-site overnight parking is available (simply give your number plate to the team behind the bar) and enjoy stunning waterfront views with boats, wildlife, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
At Compamigos, our name embodies the heart and soul of our tapas bar and restaurant. Inspired by the Spanish phrase “Compartir con Amigos,” which means “to share with friends,” we’ve crafted a dining experience centered around the joy of sharing delicious food, creating lasting memories, and enjoying meaningful moments with friends and family.
